With the windy conditons proving difficult it was the macroom team that raced into a 3 goal lead. Division 3

Corinthian Boys A  4  Kanturk  0

he U15As recorded their second victory with a 4-0 win over Kanturk on Sunday morning on the back pitch. Playing against a gale force wind in the first half there was some excellent defending from the Corinthians lads to prevent Kanturk from going ahead. The visitors didn't have it all their own way though as both Dylan Buckley and Darragh Egan hit the post on separate occasions before the half-time whistle. Corinthians had a whirlwind start to the second half when Roger Timon scored twice in the first three minutes. Howard Murphy ended the game as a contest when he added a third after 10 minutes. Corinthians continued to dominate and Roger Timon completed his hat-trick with 15 minutes to go when he got on the end of an excellent Andrew Shelly free-kick (his second assist). We were denied further goals by a missed penalty and some outstanding goalkeeping from the visiting netminder. We now move on to the National Cup with a derby fixture against Carrigaline n

Corinthians started the game off slowly and were one down after 15 minutes.  There were a couple of chances for both sides before half time but there were no more goals in the first half.

Corinthians started the second half off better and were soon level through a powerful shot on the edge of the box from Ricardo Dinanga. Not long after it was 2-1 to Corinthians. College Corinthians 1  Douglas Hall  2

With only 12 player available on the day the home side gave a great account of themselves. Both teams began brightly and Douglas Hall got the first goal of the game from a strike from outside the box. Corinthians went in 1-0 down at the break and came out and gave a spirited performance. Josh DeLacey equalised on his first game back from injury mid-way through the second half with a great finish. Both teams were playing well now with the game going at frantic pace. Douglas got a free kick in the last minute, with Corinthians clearing the first ball a Douglas Hall player ran onto the clearance from outside the box struck it well into the bottom corner to win we virtually the last kick of the game. Best for Corinthians on the day were Troy Flavin, Alan Kelleher and Cathal Keane. I had the problems of joints and I’ve tried a lot of means. I’ve tried a lot of drugs, both expensive, and cheap omes. I also tried Soma. I thought that I would feel better, so continued taking it for about a week, and then something stopped to help me. However, I took Soma during the exacerbation of the disease, but after the exacerbation I decided not to return to it.
