Everton 2-9 Corinthians
A convincing victory over Everton put Corinthians back to winning ways on Tuesday night. But it was Everton who took an early lead from a ball over the top against the run of play. This proved a wake up call for Corinthians as they immediately equalised through an own goal. A Jaze Kabia hat-trick ended the game as a contest before half time, after he finished well the chances created by Mark Cronin and Conor Fagan. Corinthians continued their dominance in the second half with Jaze Kabia grabbing his fourth early on and goalkeeper Alan Kelleher gaining an assist on Everton's tight pitch after his long ball found Rory Doyle who finished with ease. Everton pulled one back from a corner but this only motivated Corinthians to make amends for the defensive mistake, resulting in 3 more goals before the end from Robert Cregan, Rory Doyle and Daniel O' Donovan. This emphatic win puts Corinthians back on top of the league by a point with one game to go.
