Passage 0 Corinthian Boys A 6
The U15As continued their strong start to the season with a convincing win in the National Cup against a good Passage team. It was a very even first half and the opponents had a lot of possession and looked threatening on a number of occasions. We went ahead after 21 minutes when Ben Quilligan slipped the ball past the goalie after a strong run down the right.
We went in 1-0 up at the break and knew that we had to get the next goal. This came from Matthew O'Driscoll two minutes into the second half and he got his second just four minutes later. This cushion allowed the team to relax and they played some great passing football. Sandro Tavares scored in the 45th minute and further goals came from Ben O'Donnell and birthday boy, Ben Quilligan. Everybody contributed and Mark Harrington provided two assists. Special mention to our goalkeeper and entire defence who are yet to concede a goal this season. We move on and travel to play Ringmahon in the next round with the winners progressing into the national stages
