Eoin Davis selected for Irish Under 15 Developement squad

Eoin to play in Hibernia Cup against Man Utd,. Liverpool, Villreal etc.

College Corinthians under 15 player; Eoin Davis has been selected on the Republic Of Ireland Under 15 Development squad to take part in the Hibernia Cup , the tournament which will feature under 15 sides from Man Utd., Liverpool, Villareal etc. takes place in August (see details attached and below)

                                Top European clubs confirmed to play in Dublin !

As preparations start again for this year's  Hibernia Umbro Trophy, which will take place in August the line up has now been completed with top European clubs such as Manchester Utd (UK), Liverpool FC (UK), Wolverhampton Wanderers FC (UK), Villarreal (Spain), Stade Rennais (France), FAI Development Squad (IRE), Linfield FC (NI), Leicester City FC (UK) and Celtic FC (Scotland), who will arrive to compete in what has become Ireland's Top U-14 International Soccer Tournament.

Players such as Jonjo Shelvey (Liverpool),Paul McShane (Hull City), Andrew Keogh (Wolves), Conor Clifford (Chelsea) – to mention a few- have all played in this prestigious tournament over the years. This tournament has become the starting point of many international players to wear the green jersey under the stewardship of Irish underage manager Niall Harrison.

The Hibernia UmbroTrophy has provided the opportunity to see the very best Irish and European players and at the same time see them compete against many of the top European clubs.The Official Launch took place with Ireland Manager 'Giovanni Trapattoni' and Captain' Robbie Keane 'at the recent World cup Quailifiers.

The tournament is in its 10th year and has become Irelands top underage International Elite Football Tournament. The dates for this year's Hibernia Trophy are  16th -18th August 2013 and Fixtures have now been announced with full details on http://www.hiberniatrophy.com/  The tournament has now attracted interest  right across Europe with many teams already confirmed for 2014. The event Run By Top Schoolboy Club St Josephs Boys  and is played in their impressive grounds in Sallynoggin in South Dublin.

Last year saw the crowds in excess of 15,000 over the weekend and for the final, which saw the Celtic Beat Liverpool in a trilling final.

This year sees Manchester United compete for the first time ever in Ireland in a competitive tournament along with Villa Real and Stade Rennais

 coming to ireland for the first Time.The event is a must go for all soccer people in ireland !
