Division 2
Cor Boys A 5 Riverstown 1
A fine team performance from Cors Under 13A squad which led to a well deserved victory over Riverstown. Playing against a strong wind in the first Corinthians played their best football scoring twice through the excellent Gary Farkes played in by Max Heaky and Alan O’ Connor. Put through by Alex Walsh.
It looked comfortable at this stage but in fairness to Riverstown they raised their game early in the second half and reduced the arrears ten minutes in when their center forward latched onto a through ball and scored past Corinthians keeper Darren Sheehan.
Just when it looked as if Corinthians might be in trouble, ace marksman Alan O’ Connor popped up again to extend his sides league and went onto complete his hat trick ten minutes later. Corinthians added a fifth in the closing stages when Tom Higgins was first to the rebound following a fine strike from Liam Mc Grath.

National Cup ¼ final
Greystones Utd. 2 Corinthian Boys 4
A fantastic performance by Corinthian Boys Under 15 Premier squad as they got the better of DDSL Premier side Greystones Utd. On a 4-2 scoreline. It was a brilliant team performance by our lads who led 1-0 at half time through Alex Hill and pulled away in the second half courtesy of a superb hat trick from Robert Geaney O’ Brien.
To their credit Greystones never gave up and scoring twice during the second period thereby ensuring that Corinthians could never rest easy at any stage. Corinthians reward for today’s victory is a semi final against old rivals St. Joseph Boys who have defeated our lads in the last two National Cup finals. Hopefully it will be third time lucky for our lads.
Well done to all
