Under 18’s Going well

Under 18 Premier share points in top of the table clash with Douglas Hall; second string lose out to Wilton in a thriller

It was a good weekend for our under 18 Premier side as they followed up a 4-2 away victory over Ringmahon (Jamie Philpott (2), Ryan Mc Carthy and Shane Daly Butz on the scoresheet) with a 1-1 away draw with Douglas Hall in their top of the table clash, Alex Burns scored for Corinthians.

Our second team were a little unlucky as they lost out 3-2 to Wilton, Daniel Kingston and Colm Daly scored for Corinthians.

Goals from Ryan Mc Carthy (2) and Alex O' Sullivan gave Corinthians a hard fought away victory over Greenwood and a place in the quarter final which will take place next Tuesday night at a venue TBC

Out two under 18 squads made an excellent start toi the new season over the weekend with good victories over Balloncollig (7-0) and Buttevant (3-1). A superb hat trick from Colin Barry was the highlight of Ray Devines squads victory in Buttevant, for Richie Kenny's squad the goals were spread between Ryan Mc Carthy (2), Shane Daly Butz (2), Stephen Christopher and Alex O' Sullivan (2)
