Under 14’s open with fine away victory

Second half hat trick by Jaze kabia highlight of fine team performance

 Greenwood  0  Corinthian Boys  6

On the first game of the 2013/14 season Corinthians started as they mean to go on with an excellent 6-0 win away to Greenwood. The hunger shown by the cors players was key to winning the match & a penalty which led to the first goal, thanks to Jaze Kabia. Cors kept their one goal advantage until early in the second half when a nice layoff by Ger o'Mahony led to a great strike by Mark Cronin which doubled Cors lead. A Jaze Kabia hat-trick followed as he tucked away opportunities created by Daniel O'Donovan, Tony Brophy & Rory Doyle. Rory then wrapped up a convincing victory for Corinthians with a goal of his own 5 mins from time. Conor Fagen & Conor Russell also played well for Corinthians, who started their defence of the league title with an all important three points.
