Under 12

Premier Division

Mallow Utd. 4  Corinthian Boys 2

Following two good performances our Under 12 Premier squad turned in a disappointing display away to Mallow, poor finishing and some defensive errors meant they were always chasing the game and in the end Mallow were deserving winners. Brian O’ Connell O’ Sullivan scored twice for Corinthians.

Cor Boys B 4  B;arney Utd. A  0

Cor Boys B made it two wins from two starts with a comfortable victory over Blarney Utd. A, goals from Sean O’ Leary, Killian Caulfield (2) and Aaron Higgins did the trick for our lads while the defense deserves special mention claiming a clean sheet on the day.

 Division 7

Leeside A  4  Cor Boys C

For the second time in a week Cor Boys C lost out by the odd goal in seven, , despite finding themselves 4-0 down early in the second half they fought back with great heart to reduce the deficit to 4-3 and despite several late chances could not force the equalizer. Scorers for Corinthians were Oscar Kelleher, David O’ Connell and Carlos Olawani.

Division 8

Buttevant A  7  Cor Boys D  1

The final score line was a little harsh on our lads who battled hard all the way. Cors were only down 2-1 at half time with Fionan Gallagher on the score sheet. In the closing stages Buttevant physical superiority proved too much for our lads and the . Never the less, plenty of positives on the day.
