Corinthian Boys  2  Douglas Hall  0

Goals by Alex Healy Byrne  just before half time and five minutes from time gave Corinthians a deserved victory over Douglas Hall  in this entertaining  league clash.  This extended Corinthians unbeaten run to four and the side is beginning to show some of the form that won them the league title last season.

Local Cup

Corinthian Boys A  1  Buttevant 2

In a cracking Cup tie which was a credit to both sides Corinthians lost out by the odd goal in three against a strong Buttevant side.  Buttevant jumped in front early on but Corinthians responded well to this setback and were unlucky not to go in on level terms at half time.

Showing great determination Corinthians took the initiative again early in the second half and scored a deserved equalizer when Ugo Okonkwo scored with a superb strike from outside the area.  To Buttevants credit they responded well to this reverse and were back in front five minutes later when Corinthians defended poorly at a corner and paid the price. Corinthians were on the ropes for the next five or ten minutes and could have conceded again but showing great heart came back into the game late on could easily have snatched an equalizer late on with two efforts from Liam Mcgrath going just wide. Alex Walsh, Max Healy, Liam Mc Grath and Ugo Okonkwo were excellent for Corinthians
