Springfield Ramblers 0 Corinthian Boys 2
On Sunday morning in Cobh we continued our 100% start to the season with a hard earned 2-0 win over Springfield Ramblers. It took us 10 or 15 minutes to get up to the pace of this game as Springfield Ramblers began the brighter. We eventually got out passing game going and began to dominate proceedings. As the half wore on we looked more and more threatening and after some excellent play by Ricardo down the left Andrew Greaney finished brilliantly to the bottom corner from the edge of the box. It was the least Andrew deserved after a brilliant first half.
In the second period we again dominated the game and our pressure finally paid off when Adam Hunt found Ricardo in the six yard box with a cushioned header and Ricardo duly applied the finish. It was a brilliant team performance. Best on the day were Mathew O Connor who pulled off three exceptional saves, Sean Dunlea who was immense at the back and Andrew Greaney up top who worked tirelessly, but man of the match was undoubtedly Jeff Holden who covered every blade of the Cobh grass with an outstanding performance.

College Corinthians 5 Blarney Utd 0
A hat-trick from Ricardo Dinanga and goals from Josh DeLacey Sam Torres give College Corinthians a 5-0 scoreline today. Best for Corinthians was Conor Bowdren who assisted in all Ricardo's goals. Corinthians played some lovely passing football but took over 30 mins to break down a very compact Blarney team in the first half. The half time score was 2-0. Both goals coming from Ricardo. The second saw more of the same from Corinthians and scored goals by Ricardo, Josh DeLacey (a rocket) and Sam Torres saw Corinthians 17s through to the next round.
