Corinthian Boys 5   Leeside 2

Great start for our Premier squad as they go the better of a good Leeside side. Brian O’ Sullivan O’ Connell was the start of the show but he was ably assisted by David Coughlan who was also in the scoresheet, Jimmy Harte and Jamie O’ Brien

Division 1

Cor Boys A  0  Mayfield Utd. 6

Cor Boys A went down to a heavy defeat against a very strong Mayfield side, Tim Harte, Bill Twohig and Colm Kennelly did well for Corinthians.

Division 1

Rockmount 1  Cor Boys A  1

Cor Boys A making their debut in Division One turned in a fine team performance to come away with a deserved share of the spoils. Cors had gone ahead after 20 minutes when Liam Mc Grath cut inside before unleashing a tremendous strike into the roof of the net. However Rockmount were always in the game and they were back on level terms five minutes later when they scored direct from a free Kick.

The game swept from end to end from there to the finish with both sides having their chances but a draw was a fair result.
