FAI Intermediate Cup Semi Final; College Corinthians V Liffey Wanderers, Sunday April 2nd, kick off 2pm

It is an exciting time for the Club with some huge games coming up over the next couple of weeks starting next Sunday with the FAI Intermediate Cup semi final

FAI Intermediate Cup Semi Final College Corinthians V Liffey Wanderers

On Sunday April 2nd the club will host for only the second time an FAI Intermediate Cup semi final when we have home advantage against Liffey Wanderers from Dublin. It should be a great occasion and we are hoping for big support from within the Club with everyone getting behind Tagdh O’ Connells squad.

On their road to the semi final Corinthians have defeated

Kinsale 3-0

Passage 5-0

Cockhill Celtic (Donegal) 1-0

Portmarnock 2-1 (Dublin)

Everton 3-0

It is a great opportunity for our lads but to get to the final they will have to overcome crack Dublin side Liffey Wanderers who have built up a formidable record in Cup football over the last few years including winning the FAI Junior Cup in 2015. So it should be a cracking contest and one not to be missed.

For the record back in 1995 in our previous home semi final Corinthians defeated Asdown Villa from Dublin by 3-1.  Next Sunday’s game kicks off at 2pm.

Sunday April 9th – Under 15 National Cup Semi Final, kick off 2pm

Corinthian Boys  V  St. Joseph Boys

In a repeat of the national Cup final for the last two seasons Corinthians take on St. Joseph Boys. We will be  underdogs but I am sure Mark Redmond’s squad as always will give it their best shot and who knows football is a funny game. Let’s get behind the lads and give them our full support
