Eoghan O’ Connell makes his league debut for Glasgow Celtic
It was fantastic to see former Corinthians schoolboy player Eoghan (Bones) O' Connell make his debut for Glasgow Celtic and what a day to do so as Celtic paraded the Scottish Premier League trophy before their loyal fans. Eoghan joined Corinthians as a five year old and played with the Club for 10 years playing in a national cup final against St. Joseph Boys in a side which also inclided current Cork City star Brin Lenihan. He moved to Glasgow Celtic as a sixteen year old and in a little over two years has progressed to the level where he is now ready to play in the Scottish Premier League. Everyone in Corinthians would like to congratulate Eoin and family; well done to all concerned.
