College Corinthians Night At The Dogs This Friday Night Junne 6th
End Of Season Fun-raiser / Celebration For All The Family
Main Sponsor South County Bar Douglas
College Corinthians AFC is hosting a night at the Dogs on Friday June 6th, the night is an end of season celebration when players, coaches, parents & friends get the opportunity to mingle and relax in an enjoyable and fun filled atmosphere. This is our third time hosting a Night at the Dogs and if previous experience is anything to go by, it will be a night to remember for all the family. The atmosphere has always been electric as the dogs leave the traps and when the favourite wins the roar equates to the roar you would get in the Aviva stadium when Ireland score
This year’s night promises to be the best yet; not only are you guaranteed great fun but this year we have some fantastic prizes on offer for all those who have supported the night (see details below)
The venue is the Greyhound Track in Curraheen Park with it’s fabulous facilities, great viewing points to see all the action either in the outside stands or on the many screens that are scattered throughout the Restaurants, Bar, Fast Food areas. etc.

End of Season Fun Night at the Races Friday 6th June
Over the coming weeks you will be hearing and seeing a lot more about this great night. It’s been a very tough year, both on and off the pitch, for many of us. We also have very little time to actually take a deep breath and socialise as a Club or even as managers. Everyone is busy, organising training sessions, getting teams to games and getting home as quickly as possible afterwards. I never take for granted, or underestimate, the amount of time and effort being exerted by so many people in our Club.
Therefore, it’s time we take a night out of our busy schedules and create a night to remember for all of us, including family and friends. We want total inclusion to ensure everyone sees what a great club we are but also have the opportunity to get to know each other and our families better.
Therefore, we will be using our web site, Facebook and twitter accounts to help generate the enthusiasm and excitement for this night out. So please help the organising committee when you are approached about getting your teams excited about it, as well as volunteering some names of parents who would be good at helping organising such an event.
We will have many relevant prizes and novelty events which should meet everyone’s expectations. So, please ensure this is your end of season celebration with your team, family and friends.
Thank you all for your continued support and good luck with your remaining fixtures. For those teams that have people doing exams in the coming months, please pass on our good wishes and encourage them to study and use the training and matches as a pressure valve release.
Yours in sport,
Chairman – College Corinthians AFC
