At a recent function held at Club Sponsors CAB Motors, the Club was delighted to confirm the appointments of Senior Manager and Senior Coach and Schoolboy Coaching Coordinator for the new season 2017/18
Tadhg O’ Connell & Joe Gamble take charge of the Corinthians Senior Team.
Following a very successful season last year which saw the seniors reaching the semi final of the FAI Intermediate Cup as well as finishing a close third in the Munster Senior League Premier Division, the Club is delighted to announce that last year’s very successful Management team of Tadhg O’ Connell and Joe Gamble will once again be at the helm for the new season.
Tadhg has been involved with the Club for close on twenty years as a schoolboy, Youth and Adult player and in recent years as an adult team manager. His experience and knowledge in the manager’s post is invaluable. Former Cork City star and Irish Senior international Joe Gamble has been a breath of fresh air since he got involved with the Club last season with his enthusiasm, coaching ability and vast football knowledge. This season Joe will be helping with the coaching not only of the Corinthians Senior team but also his expertise will be available to coaches at all levels within the Club.
Craig Donnellan appointed Schoolboy Coaching Coordinator
The Club was also thrilled to announce the appointment of Craig Donnellan as Schoolboy Coaching Coordinator.
Craig played all his schoolboy football with Corinthians captaining probably one of the best schoolboy sides the Club ever fielded winning five Premier League titles. He has represented Ireland at Under 15, 16 and 17 age levels and is currently a key member of Cobh Ranblers youthful League Of Ireland squad.
Over the last few years Craig has been involved in a coaching capacity with some of our schoolboy teams and last season coached the Corinthians Under 15 squad to National Cup glory. His drive and coaching ability are sure to be a tremendous asset for the Club’s schoolboy section this season.
On behalf of the Club I would like to wish Tadgh, Joe & Craig the very best for the season.
