Great action in underage leagues

Winter Street Leagues - Underage Section.

The Mighty Ducks have moved to the top of the Under Eight league following two superb victories in this week's under eight league, they got the better of the Harlem Globetrotters in a seven goal thriller winning 4-3 and they followed up with a an equally exciting 6-4 victory over the luckless Natterjack Toads. Best for the Mighty Ducks were Cillian Walsh, James Gillespie, David Kenny, Brian Legrue while Conor Mc Grath, David Fox, Mark Hill and Stanley Bott did well for the Natterjack Toads. It was also a great day for the Green Bay Packers as they picked up full points from their two games, Scott Philpott, Jeff Holden, Shane Connor and Fionn Molloy were best for Green Bay.

In the Under Seven League, Chicago Bears continue to set the pace with good wins over the Pittsburgh Penguins and the ACT Brumbies. Also in top form were the Springfield Isotopes and The Natal Sharks both of which picked up full points. For the Sharks Ian Turnbull, Andrew O' Brien, Luke Osborne and Mathew Healy were outstanding and for the Isotopes Jack Higgins, Diarmuid Desmond, Shane Cotter and Daniel Squires were in great form.
