The Finals of the College Corinthians Annual Street Leagues took place on Sunday June 10th 2007..... Clink Link to see photo's; http://corinthianphotos.spaces.live.com A special thanks to all those who were involved in the organisation of the Finals day, there were many both within and outside of the Club who helped to make the day possible ;The coaches,schoolboys and girls, the Facilities Committee, the various voluntary organisations. However above all I would like to thank our Ladies Committee and their Chairperson Marie Cruise O'Shea. Through their efforts, they made the day a really special and memorable one for all who attended. Well done to all concerned |

Schoolboy Chairman Neil Daly officiated at the Presentation of the trophies, assisted by guests of honour Neale Horgan from Cork City, former Corinthians schoolboy David Bevan ,currently starting his fourth year with Aston Villa, and Cork Schoolboys League u12 Player of the Year and Corinthians U12 player Jamie Davis, captain of the Cork u12 team which has just reached the All Ireland Final. A special presentation to Schoolboy coach Phil Rudio whose work is taking him back home to the 'States' after three very enjoyable years with the Club. Finally on a day which was all about fun and enjoyment, a special mention for Cathy O'Mahony who took the honours in the mothers penalty competition. Well done to all concerned. |
